Our Story

Wine for the next generation.

Behind ten.41 is Joey Tensley — one of the Central Coast's most critically acclaimed winemakers. This is his answer to wine that doesn’t take itself too seriously.

The Winemaker

Joey Tensley

Joey Tensley has spent decades making wines from some of Santa Barbara County’s most incredible vineyards. Along the way, the wines earned big scores, national recognition, and a reputation for serious craftsmanship. But at the end of the day, Joey has always believed wine is meant to bring people together.

ten.41 is about bringing great wine back to everyday life. Five honest wines from California's Central Coast — Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and two Syrahs — made for the nights that matter most, even when they weren’t planned that way.

It’s meant to be opened.

No rules. No overthinking. No saving bottles for “someday.”

A bottle after work. Burgers on the grill. A weekend at the lake. Friends around the fire pit. Tuesday night pizza that somehow turns into midnight conversations.

The approach is easygoing, but the winemaking isn’t. Joey brings the same winemaking philosophy he’s always believed in: great vineyards, real farming, and letting the wine speak for itself.

No pretension. No waiting for a special occasion. Just wines you’ll actually want to drink.

Where we're from

California's Central Coast. Cool Pacific breezes. Long growing seasons. One of the most distinctive wine regions in the state — and the only place we call home.
